I'm really trying to be constant and draw every week-end's to finish Mariah Carey's portrait as soon as possible.
Today I've finished the upper part of her hair, now I feel the face is more complete.
I've used an electric eraser (bought here) to create those little irregular reflections in her hair to made it look "platinum blonde"-like.
Hope you like it.

* Derwent graphite pencils (from 3H to 5B)
* Faber-Castell black watercolor pencil
* Arches hot-press watercolor paper

Just incredible, definitely want to watch how this one turns out! I'd love to know how you achieve those soft tones in the skin.

soft tones are done with brushes to blend graphite on the skin :)
